About the spot
In Tatajuba, kiteing goes well with a small village and a simple beach life. The main spot is associated with the mouth, and to change the picture of the station is taken to the neighboring freshwater lagoons. Conditions depend on the specific place: one exit can be about flat water, the other about the ocean and downwind. Here it is useful to ask the school in advance where the lessons will be held, and where independent riders ride.
What to pay attention to
Check the water level and route. Coordinate trips to Lagoa Grande or Lagoa da Torta with the station.
Best time to travel: September-December
For the Brazilian spot route, Dragon Kite recommends September–December, a time of sustained winds on the northeast coast. This is a good period to plan a trip around daily kitesurfing, from the ocean beaches of Ceara to the lagoons and estuaries of Piaui. Wind strength and water condition vary by day and spot, so the size of the kite, tides and forecast still check before leaving.
Description of the wind season at local schools: 7Beaufort, Illa do Guagiro and Preá Kite Club.
How to plan the road
The last section of the route is often organized by local transfer; coordinate the transportation of kite-baggs.
Before paying, check with the receiving team the place of study and the nearest comfortable accommodation. “Hotel by the sea” and “hotel by the kite zone” do not always mean the same thing.
Where is it?
The marker shows the area, not the exact launch point. Find the station address and permitted area at the school.
Questions before travel
How to choose the time of the trip?
September-December is a benchmark for planning. Before paying, confirm the season at the local school and check the forecast for travel dates.
What to ask the school before booking?
Where the lessons are held, what the size of the group is, whether the equipment is included, what language is taught and how the rescue on the water is organized.
