About the spot

One of the main kite districts of Curacao is Sint Joris Bay. Here, they ride in the bay, not on each of the beautiful bathing beaches of the island. It is convenient for a trip with different interests: in the morning choose a kite session, in the afternoon go to the bays or to Willemstad. In the bay is to deal with the boundaries of kitesurfing and the shore of the start: the coverage and depth are not everywhere the same.

What to pay attention to

On your first session, ask an instructor to show you a safe route and areas of wind shadow.

How to plan the road

The main point of arrival is Curaçao Airport; a car or transfer station is practical to the bay.

Before paying, check with the receiving team the place of study and the nearest comfortable accommodation. “Hotel by the sea” and “hotel by the kite zone” do not always mean the same thing.

Where is it?

The marker shows the area, not the exact launch point. Find the station address and permitted area at the school.

Questions before travel

Passage period, clarify the dates - a reference point for planning. Before paying, confirm the season at the local school and check the forecast for travel dates.

What to ask the school before booking?
