About the spot

Kitting on Bonaire is centered off Atlantis Beach. Small stations with recognizable buses have become part of the island's image, but the main practical detail is the wind, which is often directed from the shore. Therefore, the escort boat here is more important than a cozy beach cafe. Such an organization allows you to study and ride if rescue support is truly agreed upon. Days without kite can be dedicated to the underwater world of the island.

What to pay attention to

Do not ride in offshore wind without an active rescue service. Confirm rescue arrangements before launching.

How to plan the road

From Flamingo airport, you can get to the southwest coast; agree on the address of the school in advance.

Before paying, check with the receiving team the place of study and the nearest comfortable accommodation. “Hotel by the sea” and “hotel by the kite zone” do not always mean the same thing.

Where is it?

The marker shows the area, not the exact launch point. Find the station address and permitted area at the school.

Questions before travel

How to choose the time of the trip?

According to trade winds and forecast - a guide for planning. Before paying, confirm the season at the local school and check the forecast for travel dates.

What to ask the school before booking?

Where the lessons are held, what the size of the group is, whether the equipment is included, what language is taught and how the rescue on the water is organized.
