About the spot

A kite safari is a travel format, not a single fixed spot. The boat leaves Hurghada to the island waters; routes may include Tawila and Geisum. Beautiful shoals and the ability to change places every day are the main attraction, but the result depends on the organization. Before payment, it is useful to know the actual composition of the group, the experience of the instructors, the number of rescue boats and the plan for days without wind.

What to pay attention to

Confirm rescue arrangements, permitted island areas, included lessons and equipment storage. Ask for an exact list of all-inclusive services.

Safari: instead of one beach - a route by water

The main idea is to live on a yacht and go to different island waters. In the morning you can ride by the sand spit, and after the transition to see a different color of the water and another shore. This is a shared trip format: the team, escort boats, equipment and route work together. The specific islands and the number of days on each spot depend on the operator, the weather and the route allowed.

Who to go with?

KiteSafari.PRO

The team of Ilya Lyubimov organizes kite safari in Egypt. The site features yachts, training beginners, working with instructors and escort boats. Here you can see photos of past trips and clarify the current program: the choice of a yacht and the conditions of a particular visit should be discussed separately.

JollyKite / Gagarin Kite

JollyKite presents Egyptian yacht rides under the Gagarin Kite brand. The safari page describes yacht accommodation, training and access to the island spots. For planning, it is useful to compare not only beautiful photos, but also the program for your dates, the number of students and the services included.

Other organizers

Kite School Egypt and Kitesafari.eu also have separate Egyptian safari pages. Links are placed in the command list. These are options for self-comparison, not ranking or confirmation of availability of places.

What to ask before booking

  • What yacht is assigned to the trip and what accommodation in the cabin?
  • Are transfers, meals, classes, rentals and rescue boats included?
  • How many students per instructor and how to choose the water area at different levels?
  • What happens on a windless day and when the route changes?
  • What are the conditions of transfer, cancellation and insurance for riding?

The sand water in the picture does not show the entire water area: before leaving, check the depth, corals, passages and working area of the team. Regional pictures in our gallery are signed; photos of specific yachts and departures can be seen in the galleries of the organizers above.

How to plan the road

Coordinate the time of arrival in Hurghada, the place of boarding the yacht and the stock before the return flight.

Before paying, check with the receiving team the place of study and the nearest comfortable accommodation. “Hotel by the sea” and “hotel by the kite zone” do not always mean the same thing.

Questions before travel

How to choose the time of the trip?

According to the schedule of the operator - a reference point for planning. Before paying, confirm the season at the local school and check the forecast for travel dates.

What to ask the school before booking?

Where the lessons are held, what the size of the group is, whether the equipment is included, what language is taught and how the rescue on the water is organized.
