About the spot

On Djerba, schools use several water areas, including lagoon areas. For the student, this is an opportunity to work out basic movements without the ocean surf, and for the company - to combine kitesurfing and island holidays. But the depth and bottom change: comfortable water for the bodydrag is not always suitable for jumping. Choose a school at the place of lessons, organization of training and communication with your housing.

What to pay attention to

Check water level, the lagoon in use and how many students share a kite. Adequate depth matters more than perfectly flat water.

How to plan the road

Djerba-Zarzis airport and transfer to the selected base; ask the school which shore to go to.

Before paying, check with the receiving team the place of study and the nearest comfortable accommodation. “Hotel by the sea” and “hotel by the kite zone” do not always mean the same thing.

Where is it?

The marker shows the area, not the exact launch point. Find the station address and permitted area at the school.

Questions before travel

How to choose the time of the trip?

The warm season is forecast to be a benchmark for planning. Before paying, confirm the season at the local school and check the forecast for travel dates.

What to ask the school before booking?

Where the lessons are held, what the size of the group is, whether the equipment is included, what language is taught and how the rescue on the water is organized.
