About the spot

Kite geography of Tenerife is connected primarily with El Medano. The ocean here is alive: chop, wave and surf require attention, and different parts of the coast suit different levels. The strength of the trip is compactness: schools, accommodation and walks can be collected in one town. On a windless day, the island does not end at the beach: you can go to the mountains or explore other shores.

What to pay attention to

Check the designated kite area and launch point. Rules at one beach do not necessarily apply next door.

How to plan the road

A convenient landmark is Tenerife South Airport, then transfer to El Medano.

Before paying, check with the receiving team the place of study and the nearest comfortable accommodation. “Hotel by the sea” and “hotel by the kite zone” do not always mean the same thing.

Where is it?

The marker shows the area, not the exact launch point. Find the station address and permitted area at the school.

Questions before travel

How to choose the time of the trip?

Year-round, often summer, is a guide for planning. Before paying, confirm the season at the local school and check the forecast for travel dates.

What to ask the school before booking?

Where the lessons are held, what the size of the group is, whether the equipment is included, what language is taught and how the rescue on the water is organized.
