About the spot

Prasonisi is in the south of Rhodes. The narrow spit makes the place especially recognizable: on its sides the water conditions vary, and the choice of shore depends on the wind and the level of the rider. This is not just a beautiful view from above, but a reason to figure out in advance where you will study or ride. Life here is often centered around stations, while the larger resort centers are further away.

What to pay attention to

Before your first session, check wind direction on each side of the spit and confirm rescue support.

How to plan the road

Plan transfers from Rhodes airport to the southern part of the island; take into account distances when choosing accommodation.

Before paying, check with the receiving team the place of study and the nearest comfortable accommodation. “Hotel by the sea” and “hotel by the kite zone” do not always mean the same thing.

Where is it?

The marker shows the area, not the exact launch point. Find the station address and permitted area at the school.

Questions before travel

How to choose the time of the trip?

Summer, according to the forecast, is a benchmark for planning. Before paying, confirm the season at the local school and check the forecast for travel dates.

What to ask the school before booking?

Where the lessons are held, what the size of the group is, whether the equipment is included, what language is taught and how the rescue on the water is organized.
